Matteo Adams is a classically trained tenor from Beaumont, Texas; with a Bachelor of Music in Voice from Oberlin Conservatory and a Master’s of Music in Opera from New York University. Recent engagements include singing  Nemorino in L'elixir d'amore with Opera Neo, being a Studio Artist with Central City Opera, an Apprentice Artist with Sarasota Opera, and as an Emerging Artist with St. Petersburg Opera.

A Lyric tenor specializing in the Bel canto repertoire, Matteo has sung works that span from the earliest of Mozart to Verdi, bringing youthful freshness to every role he performs. Upcoming roles include a highly anticipated debut with Capitol City Opera as Alfredo in La Traviata and a return to St Pete Opera, reprising the role of Geppetto in Pinocchio.

Matteo was also one of the five singers to be featured in a Documentary Film produced in collaboration with Victory Hall Opera, “YAPs”, which was released in the summer of 2025
